Roy Rushka spent his lifetime learning about his family. He had a job that allowed for him to travel around the globe, visiting museums and archives and villages. Along the way he took pictures and wrote down all he learned about the family.
Roy had books transcribed to english so we could all enjoy them, and himself wrote a few for the newer generations. The books are still available and will come online some time in the future.
Roy enjoyed his monthly newletter and his "Pioneer & Colonists" paper where we would show off the new data we had found using the internet.
Roy was old school, wiriting to archives, sending chocolates, waiting months, sometimes years for an answer. He could not get over how far technology had brought the researching in other countries.
